Come join us for a few hours and help bring smiles, school supplies and clothes to the wonderful kids of the tri-state area.
What type of volunteer positions are available?
Personal Shoppers: Volunteers are paired up one on one with a child and will escort them through the "store" to "shop" for their shoes, socks, under garments, backpack and uniform shirts. The students appreciate the one on one attention they receive from our compassionate volunteers.
Store Clerks: Volunteers will be assigned to a single department to distribute to each student socks, underwear, t-shirts, backpacks, shoes, or snacks.
Why do I have to sign up on-line?
Volunteers at this event work directly with students therefor, we require all of our volunteers to be checked against the sex offender registry. Safety of the students is our first priority.
Volunteers for this event must be age 18 and older.
What do I need to bring with me on the day of the event?
We will provide coffee, muffins, snacks, soda, water, and lunch for our volunteers. This event could not be successful without your hard work and support. Please bring your photo Identification, a cheery disposition and remember to wear comfortable shoes!
What do I do when I get there?
When you arrive at the Event Facility please follow the signs to the volunteer check-in station. You will receive your volunteer badge, name tag, and assignment. Badges must be worn at all times. When you leave for the day please return your volunteer badge and sign out at the volunteer station.
